Staff Overview

The Lovejoy Fine Arts staff bring to our classrooms a combination of experience, depth in pedagogy, and a passion for fine arts education.  Each member of our team engages in current professional development relevant to their teaching areas and works within their vertical team to build strong curriculum that advances at each level to produce outstanding experiences in fine arts.

 

Many of our fine arts educators also manage a professional career beyond the school day that includes appointments to the Dallas Symphony Chorus, professional performance gigs around the nation, and selected artist to well-known and juried visual art festivals.  In addition, Lovejoy Fine Arts teachers are often chosen as adjudicator's, speakers, and working artists as clinicians for other school districts, UIL contests, and collegiate courses.  Our teachers regularly engage within the community to stay relevant and utilize the latest trends in performing and visual arts in their classrooms.
